Coffee + Condensed Milk

Many people are used to add coffee-mate when drinking coffee. But the associate professor of China Agriculture University food department Li Xingming claims that it is more healthy using condensed milk.


In traditional way, people tend to add milk into coffee to make it smooth and fragrant. Due to the inconvenience of carrying milk, people find a substitution. People process the plant oil to non-dairy creamer, named coffee-mate. It is easy to pack and carry.


But the recent research shows that the TFA(trans fatty acids) from coffee-mate is harmful for people’s health, and more seriously, it can even cause coronary disease.In contrast, through the processes such as heating, sterilization and condensation, the condensed milk has the advantages of carrying and storage. Besides, due to less process, no extra additive and no TFA, it is certainly more healthy.
